Ride of Your Life – Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 07 December 2025

These Terms & Conditions (Terms) govern your use of Ride of Your Life ("ROYL") and your transactions with us for the hire of equipment (sex machines) and the purchase of accessories. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Scope & definitions

  • ROYL/We/Us means Ride of Your Life and our related entities or authorised partners.
  • You means the customer (individual or business) hiring equipment, purchasing accessories or ordering services.
  • Hire Equipment means any equipment you rent from us (including sex machines and included attachments).
  • Accessories means items you purchase (e.g. attachments, consumables, cleaning products) that are not returned after use.
  • Services means any non-equipment-based offering supplied by ROYL, including (for example) delivery, setup or pack-down, on-site assistance, training, consultations and other labour-based tasks associated with your booking.
  • Booking means a confirmed hire for a specified period (and any associated services or accessories included in that order).

2. Eligibility & age confirmation

  • You must be 18 years or older to hire equipment or purchase accessories.
  • We may require proof of age and identity (e.g., government-issued ID) at checkout, delivery or collection.
  • You confirm the delivery address permits receipt of age-restricted goods.

3. Bookings, payments & pricing

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment is received (in full or as otherwise offered at checkout).
  • Prices are shown in AUD and include GST where applicable. Any delivery, setup, cleaning or late fees will be disclosed before you complete checkout.
  • For hires, we may pre-authorise or take a security bond. We may deduct reasonable amounts for late return, extra cleaning, loss, or damage (see sections 7–8).
  • We accept payment methods shown at checkout. You authorise us to charge your payment method for fees arising under these Terms.

4. Cancellations & changes

  • Your cancellation (hire): You may cancel before the hire starts. If you cancel within the free-cancellation window (as displayed at checkout or in your booking confirmation), we will refund amounts paid for that booking. Outside that window, a reasonable cancellation fee may apply to cover our costs and lost bookings.
  • Your cancellation (accessories purchase): Change-of-mind returns for opened or hygienic items may not be accepted for health reasons unless required by the ACL. We will always honour your ACL rights for faulty products.
  • Our cancellation or change: If we cannot supply a booking or item, we will offer a re-schedule, suitable alternative, or refund as required by the ACL.

5. Delivery, collection & setup

  • We will deliver/collect or make equipment available for pickup as agreed in your booking. You must ensure safe access and provide accurate delivery/collection details.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates. If delays occur, we will keep you informed and provide remedies required by the ACL where applicable.
  • Where setup/installation is included or purchased, you must follow our team’s safety guidance and ensure suitable power and space.

6. Safety, hygiene & lawful use

  • Hire Equipment is for lawful, private use by adults. Do not use on or around minors or in locations where such use is unlawful.
  • Follow all instructions provided. Do not modify equipment, defeat safety features, or use incompatible accessories.
  • Use only with clean, intact, and compatible attachments or accessories. For shared use, follow best-practice hygiene and use personal protective barriers where relevant.
  • Stop using equipment immediately if you notice damage, unusual noise, overheating, electric faults, or discomfort. Contact us for assistance.
  • Do not use Hire Equipment if you have medical conditions that could be affected without first obtaining professional advice. You are responsible for selecting suitable products for your personal circumstances.
  • Use only water-based lubricants with silicone accessories.

7. Your responsibilities during hire

  • You are responsible for the Hire Equipment from delivery/collection until it is returned and inspected.
  • Keep equipment safe, dry, clean and protected from damage. Do not sub-hire or allow unauthorised persons to remove/relocate the equipment.
  • Notify us immediately of any fault, loss, theft or damage. Do not attempt repairs unless we expressly authorise them in writing.
  • Return all items (including cables, attachments and cases) at the end of the hire in the same condition, fair wear and tear excepted.

8. Loss, damage, cleaning & late return

  • Damage & loss: You are liable for loss of, or damage to, Hire Equipment while in your possession or control, except to the extent caused by our breach of consumer guarantees or our negligence.
  • Cleaning: A reasonable cleaning fee may apply if equipment is returned soiled beyond ordinary use.
  • Late return: If you return equipment late without prior agreement, or we are unable to collect the equipment at the end of the hire period, we may charge an additional hire fee (e.g., hourly or daily rate) for the period of delay, plus reasonable costs we incur (e.g., missed subsequent bookings).
  • Assessment: We will provide an itemised statement for any additional charges and apply the security bond first (if applicable), refunding any balance due to you.

9. Consumer guarantees, returns & refunds

Your purchases and hires come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. For goods (including accessories) and services (including hire), if there is a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy. For major failures, you can choose a refund or replacement for goods, or cancel a service and receive a refund for the unused portion. For minor failures, we will repair, replace or re-supply within a reasonable time. We will not misrepresent or limit these rights.

  • Hire services: If the hire service is not supplied with due care and skill, is not fit for the disclosed purpose, or is not supplied within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL.
  • Accessories (goods): If an accessory is faulty, unsafe, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, depending on whether the failure is major or minor.
  • Change of mind: We do not offer change-of-mind refunds on opened or hygienic products unless required by law. We will always comply with the ACL.
  • Return process: Contact us with your order details and a description of the issue. We may request photos or an inspection. We will cover reasonable return costs where required by the ACL.

10. Warranties & disclaimers

  • Except for the guarantees and rights you have under the ACL and any express warranties we provide, we disclaim all other warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • Where permitted, our liability for non-excludable guarantees is limited to the remedies set out in the ACL (e.g., repair, replacement or refund for goods; re-supply or refund for services).

11. Unfair terms

We aim to avoid unfair contract terms. If any term in these Terms is found to be unfair or unlawful under applicable law, that term will be severed or modified so the remainder of the Terms continue to operate.

12. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You consent to our use of your information to administer orders, bookings, delivery, support and compliance (including age verification).

13. Risk & limitation of liability

  • Subject to the ACL, you use Hire Equipment and Accessories at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including under the ACL.

14. Suspension & termination

  • We may suspend or cancel a booking if: (a) you breach these Terms; (b) we reasonably consider there is a safety, hygiene or legal risk; or (c) events beyond our control make supply impracticable. We will provide refunds or alternatives as required by the ACL.

15. Intellectual property

All brand names, product names, images and content on our website are owned by us or our licensors. You must not use them without permission.

16. Services

  • Scope: Services may include (for example) delivery, setup or pack-down, on-site assistance, training, consultations and other labour-based tasks associated with your booking.
  • Pricing: Service fees are shown at checkout or in your booking confirmation. Unless otherwise stated, service fees are charged in addition to hire and accessories charges.
  • Cancellations & changes: Where services are booked for a specific time or location, the same cancellation and change rules that apply to your hire booking also apply to the related services (see section 4). If we need to change or cancel a service, we will offer a re-schedule or refund in line with your rights under the ACL.
  • Your obligations: You must ensure safe, lawful access for our team to deliver and perform any services (including suitable parking, building access and a safe working environment).
  • Consumer guarantees: Services are provided with due care and skill and must be reasonably fit for the purposes you make known to us. If a service does not meet these standards, you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL (see section 9).

17. General

  • Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
  • Variations: We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted at the time you place an order applies to that order.
  • Severability: If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down or severed, and the remainder will continue in force.
  • Contact: For support or to make a claim under the ACL, please contact us by email at [email protected].
